Let’s face it, in the world of skin and hair care, sometimes men get overlooked. It’s not that we mean to do it, but they have the cars, sports, and man caves, so we should get something to ourselves, right? Just joking, there is nothing that a well kept woman desires more than a man who takes interest in his personal appearance and hygiene. We know it’s hard to find products, and hairstyles that are right for the natural man in an industry geared towards women, so we are here to help! Here are our top natural hairstyles for me
1. The Nudred style
The nudred system has been making waves across social media, hair blogs and youtube. The system includes a sponge with circular holes throughout. You take your dry hair, apply the product to your hair, and then rub the sponge in a circular motion throughout your entire head. This method defines your hair into mini locs’ or twists, that are great for starting the locing process or just for a funky new do. We have found that TGIN’s Twist and Define Cream works perfect with this method.
2. Loc it up
Well kept locs always look great on men. It doesn’t matter if they are long or short, there are plenty of hair styles you can do to keep it fresh! To keep your loc’s well nourished, we recommend, TGIN’s Argan oil, as well as Twist and Define Cream.
Fro’s are here to stay. A well maintained fro looks good on just about anyone. It doesn’t matter if your hair is curly or kinky, a good lining and nice fro can do wonders for any man. To keep your fro from suffering from split ends, we recommend sleeping on a satin pillowcase, washing and conditioning with TGIN’s Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner, and applying Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer to keep your hair well moisturized.
Twists are not just a wonderful transition into loc’s, they are an amazing style all on their own, short and medium twist look great on all hair types, and can really bring out a man’s facial features as well. Twists are another style that TGIN’s Twist and Define cream, goes perfect with. To ensure that your twist stay well nourished, satin pillow cases, or du-rags, along with daily butter cream are a must!
5. The wash ‘n’ Go
It’s not often that most men spend a lot of time on their hair care. Body wash usually doubles as a shampoo, which can cause breakage, and extremely dry hair. For optimal results, when washing hair, be sure to use TGIN’s sulphate free shampoo and follow up with TGIN’s conditioner. A leave in conditioner helps to ensure that hair is moisturized and well conditioned. For drier hair, or hair that needs a little boost, use TGIN’s Honey Miracle Mask for a special treat.
Remember guys, we love a man with a natural head of hair, but we really love when it is well taken care of!
Which of these styles will you be rocking this fall?
