Winter grays shouldn’t keep you from a bright color binge every so often. Sparkle polishes look great on both bold, brights and on cooler winter tones as well. Cool down your favorite hot pink shade with cobalt blue sparkles or pump up your neutral gray polish with gold. Any way you chose, be bold. Here are some TGIN favorite sparkle polishes to try this winter:
1. Sparkle-icious by OPI
A circus-like combination of purple, gold and blue. This mix of colors is super fun and child like. It will take you back to the days of cotton candy, carnivals and merry-go-rounds. Very cute and spunky all at once.
2. Today Was a Fairytale by Deborah Lippmann
A chunky, sparkling, cool silver. This will match with any solid color imaginable. A great addition to any polish collection if you’re getting a bit tired of any of your color choices. Use this as a top coat, and you’ve just doubled your color palette.
3. Across the Universe by Deborah Lippmann
A combination of pretty teals, green, and cobalt blues. The multiple hues make for a very rich blue altogether that looks cooled and sultry for the Winter season. Match this polish with like-colors or mix it up with a neon undercoat.
4. West End Wonderland by Butter London
A simple, shimmery and perfect shade of gold sparkles. Looks great by itself or paired with a complimentary solid color. Festive for holidays or for those days when you want to stand out in a crowd.
5. Chunky Holo Fuchsia by Kleancolor
This sparkle polish mixes reds, oranges and yellow-greens for a firey effect. This polish looks great over dark solids like matte black in the image above.
6. Caviar Manicure in Stop the Press by Ciate
The Ciate Caviar manicure sets are lots of fun. The sparkles look like actual sprinkles or little beads. The Manicure kits come with two bottles, one solid color and a bottle full of “caviar” beads to pour over wet nails. An all time favorite, especially for accent nails.
